Whether the refusal to admit the applicant to the profession of chartered accountant due to a previous serious conviction for insubordination resulting from his conscientious objection to military service violated Article 9 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (‘European Convention on Human Rights’, ‘ECHR’) taken in conjunction with Article 14.
