This chapter explores a range of emerging but disparate transnational crimes, some of which are more well-established than others. It examines the development and elements of anti-competitive conduct, intellectual property offences, the counterfeiting of medicines, identity fraud, offences against children, before exploring very briefly whether new suppression conventions are actually necessary to counter emerging threats.
