The ILC Draft1 contains an article dealing with the relationship of the Court to the UN. In that context reference was also made to the role of the States Parties. It provides that the President, with the approval of the States Parties to the Statute, may conclude an agreement establishing an appropriate relationship between the Court and the UN.In its commentary, the ILC observes that the way in which the Court may enter into relationship with the UN must necessarily be considered in connection with the method adopted for its creation.
