Whether the denial of an author’s request for special retirement constituted a violation of the right to social security under Article 9 of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (‘ICESCR’).

Whether a state violated Article 9 of the ICESCR due to the termination of an author’s affiliation and the lack of a comprehensive non-contributory old-age pension scheme.
