Whether the prohibition in Article 15 of the Convention Against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (‘CAT’) of the use of torture-tainted statements as sources of information was absolute.

Whether Article 15 of the CAT allowed the existence of such a statement to be used as proof that torture occurred.
