Call for Rapporteurs: Oxford International Organizations

We are continuously seeking to expand our team of reporters and welcome applications from anyone with expertise on the law and practice of international organizations. Reporters have the task of providing a short legal commentary (Headnote) on documents and materials relevant to the law and practice of international organizations.

Headnotes follow a precise template and should not, in principle, exceed 2,000 words. Exceptions may be made with the consent of the Editorial Board. Publication in the database will be at the discretion of the Editorial Board and the Managing Editors. Each headnote will be published under the name of its author.

Reporters receive an honorarium of £35 (or £70-worth of OUP books) for each headnote approved for publication. Reporters are, in addition, provided with free access to the Oxford International Organizations Database.

Applicants should possess:

  • A master’s degree in international law (a PhD is an advantage), or relevant experience with the law and practice of international organizations.
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to identify documents relevant for the advancement of knowledge of the law and practice of international organizations.
  • Current or past affiliation with a specific international organization would be an advantage.
  • A minimum of two years commitment to the project.

Applications should include:

  • a CV.
  • a short statement highlighting the applicant’s experience and/or knowledge of the law of international organizations.
  • a brief list of materials which, according to the applicant, for their institutional dimension would warrant inclusion in the OXIO database.

Applications should be addressed to Professor Jean d’Aspremont and Dr Catherine Brölmann and sent to oxio.editors@gmail.com
