Comment:

Dumont, Corps Universel Diplomatique du Droit des Gens, vol. VII, Part II, p. 131, takes the German text of this Treaty from Lünig, Teutsches Reichs-Archiv, Pars specialis II, p. 337. Bernard, Recueil des Traités de Paix, vol. IV, p. 521, prints only the French translation from the Latin, which Dumont takes from a manuscript. Dumont points out that the Treaty is wrongly dated in some versions. The text appears also, with the Spanish ratification, in Abreu y Bertodano, Colección de los Tratados de Paz etc., vol. XII, p. 140. Dumont's text includes the Declaration of Accession of the Princes of the Upper Rhine and Westerwald, the Duke of Holstein-Gottorp and the Elector Palatine, as well as the Counter-Declaration of the Imperial Legation accepting the last of these.
