Comment:

Dumont, Corps Universel Diplomatique du Droit des Gens, vol. VII, Part II, p. 111, takes the Dutch text, to which he adds a French translation, of this Treaty from the Mercure Hollandois for 1685, p. 131. Bernard, Recueil des Traités de Paix, vol. IV, p. 511, takes the text from the same source. It is printed also in Sylvius (Aitzema), Hist. onses tyds etc., Book 23, p. 95, and Lünig, Teutsches Reichs-Archiv, Pars specialis, Continuatio II(4)(3), p. 184. The Treaty, which was ratified by Brandenburg in August and by The Netherlands in October 1685 and was renewed by those signed at Cologne-on-Spree on 20(30) June 1688 and 31 August 1700, itself renews the Treaty of 26 February (8 March) 1678.
