No book on targeting is going to be complete without a chapter that gives an account of the weapons that it is unlawful to use. The law relating to weaponry, however, prohibits some weapons while the circumstances in which other particular classes of weapon may be used are restricted by the law. This chapter will explain both sets of rules. As we shall shortly see, the relevant law refers, however, to weapons, methods, and means of warfare.
