1 Officially, the Assembly of States Parties of the International Criminal Court (ICC) adopted a resolution on 14 December 2017 deciding ‘to activate the Court’s jurisdiction over the crime of aggression as of 17 July 2018’ (ICC-ASP/16/Res.5, 14 December 2017 (‘2017 resolution’ or ‘activation resolution’)).
