1 The United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (‘CRPD Committee’) was established under Article 34 Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (‘CRPD’). It is one of ten United Nations (‘UN’) treaty bodies (Human Rights, Treaty Bodies). The CRPD Committee held its first session in 2008.
