Whether a compulsory statutory duty for children to be vaccinated against diseases well known to medical science, and the consequences for non-compliance with the duty—namely, the imposition of a fine and refusal of admission to preschool—violated the right to private life under Article 8 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
